THE FINAL PHOTOGRAPHER POKER PARTY OF ‘07

Normally I join a group of fabulous SoCal wedding photographers at Becker’s house in Mission Viejo once a month for a poker party and hang-out. But, for the final gathering of the year, we all met up at the house of my friend Victor Sizemore. Victor is an amazingly talented guy with a beautiful house, and great space to get together.

And speaking of the gift exchange, half way through the tournament we gathered around Victor’s tree for some fun. Becker snagged my gift of Nerf dart guns, and Jess ended up with Jen’s gift, a Steve Irwin Action set:

I was really happy with my pink, microwaveable neck warmer, considering Sara ended up with some Beano:

I was pretty jealous of Becker’s custom poker chips:

While Jen made it far into the final table of the tourney, I donkeyed out early after losing with pocket Jacks, and pocket Kings in consecutive hands. Jess woke up with pocket Aces when I went all-in pre-flop with my Kings. Grrr!

Victor treated us all to a massive selection of Graeter’s ice cream from Kentucky!
