Last night I headed up to my friend Becker’s pad in Orange County to watch the Cowboys/Packers game, and play a little poker. The game was what you’d expect from two 10-1 teams. The Boys prevailed, which is a good thing since the entire house was filled with Cowboy fans. The poker tournament following the game was equally fun even though I came in 6th. I made it to the final table short stacked, and after waiting awhile for decent cards, I went all-in with A/K suited. I was called by Tony with A/J off-suit, and he hit a Jack on the flop, taking me out. What a Donkey! (Just kidding, Tony). Losing the tournament wasn’t all bad since I made a few bucks back playing live-play afterwards.
Don’t I look excited about my cards?

Oh, and the tourney was one by Victor, with Dane coming in second.
I didn’t shoot many pictures because I was trying to concentrate on my cards, but I wanted to post a couple fun shots of card protectors.
Jessica’s poker table / tree ornament card protector was sweet!

And Dane’s mini Airstream tree ornament card protector is just like his real one:

I always enjoy hanging out at the [ b ] pad for poker and food. Thanks again for hosting, dude! I’ll redeem myself next time. ![]()
