Last night Jen and I, along with a few friends, went out to dinner and then checked out the new Will Ferrell movie Blades of Glory.

I’m a huge Will Ferrell fan, so heading out on the movie’s opening night was a must. While not as funny as I had hoped, the movie was hilarious and worth the 10 bucks. Let’s just say it’s much funnier than Kicking and Screaming, but not near as funny as Anchorman.
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that it’s hard to see Jon Heder as anything but Napoleon Dynamite. Even when he uses his regular voice there’s still a tinge of Napoleon in there. He’s a horrible actor, and just barely pulls off his role in this movie. Luckily, his lame acting wasn’t bad enough to distract from the hilarity of Will Farrell and the rest of the cast.
I’m sure it’ll be number one at the box office as there’s nothing else out there right now.
I’ve heard that Will is currently working on a new basketball movie. Is he trying to make a movie in every sports genre? That’s fine with me. I’ll probably go see every one of them. He’s just that funny.
