Very often after shooting portraits, my clients will ask me to do do “touch-ups” of the final images before they go to print. I always oblidge, as I have the digital post-processing knowledge to do so. Fixing blemishes, slimming the waistline, etc. Having said this, I would always prefer to leave the images the way they are. I like to keep them natural.
I believe that EVERYONE is beautiful in there own way. I know it sounds cliche’ but I truly believe that. To illustrate the point of how technology and “touch-ups” can get out of hand, I decided to post this video. The next time you see a fashion or makeup billboard, think twice about what it took to make that image.
