One of the cool things about being in the south is the difference in the weather. In the eight days I’ve been here, at least 4 nights have had thunderstorms. I love thunderstorms, and have never seen storms quite like the ones out here.

Last night there was a beautiful storm, and instead of sleeping (I had to get up at 4am to go shoot), I stepped out side to snap some pics. The storm was odd in that most of the lightning was between two layers of clouds which couldn’t be seen directly. The lightning would strike and light up the sky for a moment making it glow a brilliant red color. But a couple of times the clouds broke and I got a look at some lightning.
