Yesterday I shot some fun family potraits of a wonderful family of three beautiful ladies… Loraine, and her two daughters Annabel and Mae. The three of them dressed up in these great retro style skirts and dresses, and we had a blast shooting in the late afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 90’s, but it didn’t dampen their enthusiasm one bit.
We started off shooting some simple portraits in their living room. You can tell that these 3 are extremely close. They were laughing, singing and joking all afternoon.

Mae is such a gangster!

This was shot in their garage… we had beautiful light for a few minutes when the reflected sunlight poked through the door.

After we shot in the house for awhile, Loraine suggested we walk a few blocks down the road to a neighbors house. She said the had a big, beautiful back yard that she’d like to shoot in. The walk was well worth it. Not only did her neighbor have a beautiful back yard, but the owner had built a miniature house that was used by his grandkids when they visited. The mini house was about 1/4 scale of a normal house. It had such a late 1800’s feel. We were a little cramped, but the shots came out awesome. Here’s one of my favorites.

And here’s a picture of the girls having fun outside of the little house in the picture above:

On the way back from the neighbors house, the 3 were laughing, singing and jumping all over the place. I wish I had that much energy!

Thank you ladies for such a fun afternoon!!
